To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the 1973 Classic Yellow Boot, Timberland assembled a team of Future Makers to reimagine its half-century of iconic design through their own lens of innovation. Brooklyn-based artist Nina Chanel Abney is a skillful storyteller, best known for her bold distinctive visuals that often articulate the complex social dynamics of contemporary urban life. While working at Timberland¡¯s headquarters, Abney was inspired by the materials that surrounded her as she sketched her Future 73 collection. Such inspiration is captured in this?
